Judge bans South Carolina Christian-style car plate

U.S. District Judge Cameron Currie has, BBC reports, ruled that an auto license plate approved by the state legislature violates First Amendment separation of church and state. She said:

Whether motivated by sincerely-held Christian beliefs or an effort to purchase political capital with religious coin, the result is the same.

The statute is clearly unconstitutional and defence of its implementation has embroiled the state in unnecessary (and expensive) litigation.

  1. ACTUALLY SIR, THE CONSTITUTION DOES AND VERY SPECIFICALLY SAY THAT THE CHURCH AND STATE SHALL BE SEPERATED. THOMAS JEFFERSON SAW THE EVILS OF RELIGION, AND THE RULE OF THE CHURCH OVER STATE. tHE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION IS PART OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS, AND THE SEPERATION OF CHURCH AND STATE. RELIGION IS AN EVIL WITHING ITSELF, AS THOMAS JEFFERSON SAID, HE WAS NOT CHRISTIAN, NOR WAS BEN FRANKLIN OR THOMAS PAYNE, BECAUSE THEY SAW FROM EUROPE AND IT’S HISTORY HOW MUCH RELIGION GAVE THE RIGHT OF A PERSON OR BODY OF PERONS TO RULE UNDER THE VISE OF RELIGION. THIS IS QUITE CLEAR, AND MAY BE HIDDEN FROM SOME OF YOUR VERY RELIGIOUS PEOPLE IN THING CALLED BOOKS.
